December 2008: Little Things #8

For the eighth year in a row, the Guardino Gallery will present their very popular Holiday group show, a show where everything is “little”. Forty artists were given the challenge to create artwork that would be no larger than 7” X 7” square/cube. The show is geared to holiday sales. The buyer will be able to carry their artwork out at the time of purchase. This is a great opportunity to give works of “Art” by local artists as holiday presents. The artwork that will be shown is as varied as the artists. While most of the artists in the show are accustomed to working on a far larger scale, they responded with enthusiasm. A wide variety of mediums will be represented: paintings, clay, blown glass, resin, encaustic, metal, wood, photography and mixed media.

Participating artists are Diane Archer, T. Andreas-O'Leary, Roberta Alexander, Bridget Benton, Emilio Berwick, Flora Bowley, Liz Borowski, Scot Cameron-Bell, Bill Dean, Julie Feidler, Karyn Gabriel, Julia Gardner, Mar Goman, Denise Graham, Chris Haberman, Kim Hamblin, Ingrid Hendrix, Iver & Jennifer Hennig, Cynthia Hipkiss, Hsin-Yi Huang, Robert Huff, Peg Johnson, Lisa Kristen-Scott, Ji-Min Lee, Jamee Linton, Alisa Looney, Nikki McFerren, Jennifer Mercede, Kelly Neidig, April OConnor, Tabor Porter, Jen Rawling, Rebecca Shelly, Gloria Sowell, Elizabeth Cook-Sullivan, Sara Swink, Norm Thomas, Jill Torberson, Dana Weir & Linda Womack
