August 2024: Stacey Dressen-McQueen - Oil Paintings

Stacey Dressen-McQueen's career as a picture book illustrator launched in 2003 with Boxes For Katie and named BestChildren's Book of the Year by Publisher's Weekly.    Stacey’s illustrative style draws from a naïve perspective. Her recent small acrylic paintings on paper are a meditative practice of mark making and color that approach the over lapping, separating, and tangled patterns of relating.
