April 2025: Richard Rolfe - Mixed Media

Richard Rolfe has collected images and objects all his life.  “I decontextualize, then reconstruct them taking a critical look at social, political and cultural issues, often referencing Civil Rights and LGBTQ History, exploring the objects and images into my many-layered assemblages. My works are theatrical inventories of everyday objects, architectural fragments, and vintage photographs of moments and the secrets they may tell.
